Yesterday we showed you some of the super cute products you can make from CraftSchmaft well today Claire shared the story of her yellow cruiser on her blog...no photographic evidence yet but am sure it is as super cool and cute as her collection of monsters and animals....oh and she mentioned that 'we brake for cake' this Sunday...have you started working on your cutest outfit yet? A few weeks I shared some non cycling related creativity and well this new batch I've been working on is just too darn cute not to share! With a large influx of small people and birthdays into the extended Rocket Fuel family recently it's been toy making central round here to make sure each little one gets their very own monster! Here is some of what's been taking place. Sock Monsters were made from a pattern from CraftSchmaft so that's the black and white stripe and the pink, purple red stripe. Felt monsters were made from free patterns you download from Revoluzza the orange and red ones. Otis the Owl comes from this free pattern from Sew Simple and the navy bat monster comes from the free pattern by Elizabeth Carroll On most of the monsters I've made slight changes from the patterns only to suit what I had on hand and also to suit who they are being sent off to. Huge thanks to all the lovely people who created a pattern and either sold it or offered it for free you all Rock! And if the lovely talents of Lino Creative was not enough the super super lovely and talented team behind The Finders Keepers Markets added the 'we brake for cake' scavenger hunt to their newsletter. Earlier in the year we were at The Finders Keepers and the talent and products are just astounding! If your in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne you have to go! I mean just look at these images and see for yourself. The oh so talented lino creative thought our Scavenger hunt was an awesome idea so they shared it with the readers of their blog. Thank you! Drop by and check out their blog for creative goodness aplenty, just the thing for a Monday morning when you might be struggling with starting the week. The super lovely Nicole at Circa Vintage is lamenting the fact she's not in Sydney for the 'we brake for cake' scavenger hunt...bet she'd win best dressed with all that gorgeous vintage clothes. Maybe next time Nicole? Le Pista Resistance Cap spotted in the wild 08/23/2009

Well not quite famous but certainly everyone seems to be spreading the Rocket Fuel word about. I'll be adding them all here throughout the week. First up the lads at MC Cyclery were spreading the word. |
